How to Start
Contact your local sports association - Hockey Canada, Soccer Canada, and Basketball Ontario all have youth coaching and referee certification pathways for students.
Commitment
- Medium commitment: a few hours most weeks during the school year.
- Best starting grade: G9
- Most certification programs accept students from G9 (age 14-15). Start as early as you qualify.
